Morrow & Sheppard LLP was founded by attorneys Nick Morrow and John D. Sheppard. After a number of years as partners at prestigious law firms in Texas, attorneys Morrow and Sheppard decided that it was time to take their legal careers in a different direction. They wanted to use their knowledge and experience to help ordinary people – individuals and small businesses who need help the most and who do not have the financial resources to pay the high fees charged by large law firms. Their goal was to create a firm focused on providing superior representation to everyday people and businesses in Houston, throughout the State of Texas, and elsewhere.
Our experience as former partners at prestigious law firms serves as a strategic advantage for our clients. Whether we are representing a car accident victim or an employee injured in a plant explosion or an oil field accident, we are prepared to take a stand against the lawyers and attorneys representing big business. Our attorneys know first-hand how insurance carriers and large corporations defend against injury claims, and we have the resources and skills necessary to fight for your rights. We also have years of experience helping businesses and commercial clients resolve complicated legal disputes. If you are a small company, professional, or business owner, our attorneys will work one-on-one with you to develop innovative solutions for your routine and complex legal problems.
If you have been injured due to someone else’s negligence, it is important to act quickly. All states place a limit on the amount of time that a person has to file a personal injury lawsuit. In many situations, the Texas statute of limitations in personal injury cases will limit you to two years from the date of your injury to file a claim in civil court, if not shorter. Should you fail to take legal action and file your claim within the statute of limitations, you will forfeit your right to obtain compensation from the parties who are at fault in your case.
