“What drives me is simple: standing up for people who have been hurt or taken advantage of and making sure they get the fairness they deserve.”
Biography
Michael Null is a dedicated trial attorney who fights tirelessly to achieve the best results for his clients. He represents individuals injured in oilfield accidents, maritime and railroad incidents, electrocution accidents, product liability, premises liability, car and trucking accidents, mass torts, and other serious personal injury claims. He is licensed to practice law in Texas, Colorado, and Arizona and is committed to standing by his clients even in the toughest circumstances.
Mr. Null grew up in Austin, Texas, where he attended Lake Travis High School. He graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Minor in Government.
It wasn’t until tragedy struck, however, that he knew he was meant to be a lawyer. After losing a close family member to a preventable construction defect, Mr. Null saw firsthand how negligence devastates not only victims but their families. That loss gave him a clear purpose: to fight for others in similar situations. In many ways, the path made sense. He had long been the person trusted to resolve disputes, even as a child among classmates, and law became the natural extension of that role.
He attended Texas Tech University School of Law, where he graduated summa cum laude in 2021. While there, he served as an Articles Editor on the Texas Tech Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif. He also gained invaluable experience working for Judge D. Gordon Bryant Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas and for the Lubbock-based firm Craig, Terrill, Hale & Grantham. Recognized for his trial skills, he earned the highest grade in his litigation advocacy class and discovered a true passion for the courtroom.
After law school, Mr. Null began his career with the plaintiff’s firm Houssiere Durant & Houssiere, LLP, where he second-chaired his first jury trial and helped secure a verdict of more than one million dollars before joining Morrow & Sheppard LLP as an attorney. In every role, he has remained focused on his mission: standing up for those who have been wronged and ensuring their voices are heard.
When not advocating for his clients, Mr. Null enjoys traveling, playing pick-up basketball, and listening to hand bell choirs. He is married to his wife, Stephanie, who works in the Heart Intensive Care Unit at Texas Children’s Hospital, where she helps save the lives of critically ill children. Together, they share a commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
